Jay's Quest!

Hey guys! It's been a while. But I'll have you know, my very few readers, that I am back and I am still alive! Wooh! Unfortunately, I have very little time on my hands to blog. *Cough* Because I spend most of my time watching Downton Abbey and the Lizzie Bennet Diaries. *Cough.*

Anyway, I'm back, and that's all that matters, right? Right? Hello? Well, hopefully this will all change. Because now that I'm back, I've set a new goal for myself: to blog everyday. Every. Single. Day. I know it's a big step to what I'm doing now, but what the heck? It's not like I have to write a novel, right? Right? Besides, if I do want to be a writer (and I do! 10 points for learning something new about me!) This needs to happen. I can do this. For now, I have some catching up to do. I really, really want to talk about some recent happenings in the last couple of weeks.

First off, on March 9th (yes, I know I'm a slacker blogger), I had a great opportunity to go to a children's book author signing thingy. It was great fun! The author I am referring to is a family friend by the name of Billy, or William Davis formally. First off, I had no clue this guy was a writer. I was already impressed by his photography, but a children's book writer? I had to check it out. So I went.

The book is called Jay's Quest, written and illustrated by William H. Davis. This is the guy:

Jay's Quest is about a little bear named, of course, Jay. He's a curious little bear who seeks to have a spiritual outlook on life, so he sets out to find God. I wouldn't say this book is just for children. I enjoyed it, though I guess I can be a child at heart. This book can teach you something, no matter your age. As we get older, our idea of God becomes so complicated. We tend to question where God is when we need Him; I know I have. Jay's Quest opens the curtain on the answer, and it's not as complicated as we think it is.

If you're interested in purchasing this book, shoot an email to JaysQuest1@hotmail.com! They're $15 (+$3 S&H.) And keep a look out for any upcoming books in this series by "liking" the Facebook page: Facebook.com/JaysQuest
