Fernbank Museum

As promised, a blog post everyday! Yeah, I don't care how late it is. I am keeping my promise. I'll just catch you all up on one more thing that happened while I was temporarily dead in the world of blogging.

     Fernbank.

     I wonder if they... nevermind.

Aside from the totally awesome Long-Neck, Sharptooth, and Flyers display in the middle of the museum, there was a lot more to see than the Land Before Time. No, seriously, there was.

What? The exhibits? Right, I'll get to that.

Well, there was this super-awesome natural history of Georgia exhibit.

Yeah, I know. It's not exactly historical. But this exhibit was very well put-together (it was actually like walking through a forest!) and it was meant to bring some appreciation and knowledge of Georgia's natural wildlife. Well, at least I think it did. I certainly appreciate it more.

There was an exhibit for world culture:

Yep. Culture.

I literally stared at this forever. I love turquoise.

And I found Avatar Aang's robe!:

We also went to a sensory area meant for kids, but I found another cutout stick-your-face-here thing:

And THAT, ladies and gents, is why I will never grow up!

The new exhibit was just amazing!
EXTREEEEEEEEEME!

And now I have PROOF that Wookies do, in face, EXIST! Eh, close enough.

After exploring, we enjoyed a nice Imax film about Alaska. That was, by far, my favorite part of the trip to the museum. It was absolutely stunning. And I took no pictures of the poster, so here's a Google image:

     It was an awesome day!

I'm lame.
